The summer school, coordinated by Paolo Dessì and Silvio Matassa at the University of Naples Federico II, was funded by the AURORA Network. It took place from 7 to 11 July 2025 and focussed on circular economy in the agroindustrial sector, aiming to promote sustainable practices through education and knowledge exchange.

The program featured contributions from scientists and experts representing a diverse range of institutions, including the University of Naples Federico II, University of Duisburg-Essen, University of Girona, Palacký University, National University of Ireland Galway, Norwegian University of Life Sciences, Enifer Bio, Fraunhofer Institute, King’s College London, and the University of Innsbruck.
